Built for Canadian renovators and builders

Quote the job while you're standing in it.

Walk the job with your phone and talk it through. QuantApp listens, counts what it sees, and prices the materials against what Home Depot and Rona are charging today — so you drive away with the scope and the material costs already done.

Two ways to start

Walk it with your phone

For renovation work. You open the app on site, read the prompts off the screen, and talk your way through the job the same way you'd explain it to your lead hand. That's the whole input.

Send it the plans

For new builds and additions — garages, shops, additions. Photograph a set of drawings or upload the PDF and QuantApp reads them, pulling the measurements and counts off the plan instead of off your tape.

How it works

1

Set yourself up once

On your computer, before any of this. Your company details, your logo, your labour rates by role, your markup. Ten minutes you'll never do again, and it means your rates are on file and on the paperwork instead of living in your head and on the back of a business card.

2

Walk the job

The app puts prompts on the screen over the live camera — seven per room, plus questions specific to what you're standing in. You answer them out loud while you shoot. Dimensions, scope, what's coming out, what's going back in.

3

It does the counting and the pricing

Your audio gets transcribed and read for the specifics. The video gets read for what's in the room — fixtures, windows, the things you'd otherwise be tallying on a clipboard. Every room goes through three separate passes that check each other's work, and the materials get priced against live Canadian supplier listings.

4

Finish it and send it

Back at the office, open it on your computer, put your labour against the scope, adjust anything that needs adjusting, and export a PDF with your logo on it.

What's actually in it

A script that asks the right questions.

The prompts aren't generic. They're per room, and they're built to get the app the things it needs — measurements, materials, demo level — so you don't get home and find out the thing you forgot to say is the thing it needed.

It counts what it sees.

The video isn't storage. Frames get pulled and read, and fixtures and product types get counted off them.

Live Canadian material pricing.

Prices come from real Home Depot and Rona listings, not a stale table. If a product page didn't actually load, the link comes back blank rather than pointing you at something nobody checked.

Three passes on every room.

Three separate models read each room and cross-check each other. On plan takeoffs, two models check each other's measurements.

Plans in, measurements out.

Square footage, lineal footage and fixture counts pulled straight off a photo or a PDF of the drawings.

Your catalog, your rates.

Unit costs and labour rates live in your account instead of getting re-typed on every job.

Your name on the output.

Branded PDF with your logo, your company details, and the scope and materials laid out line by line.

Doing fewer than about twenty estimates a month? The punch card is probably cheaper, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a subscription you don't need.

FAQ

No. Thirty days, full access, no card.
Your account goes read-only. Everything you've built stays there and you can still open it — you just can't edit, create or export estimates until you're on a plan.
A subscription bills monthly. The punch card is credits you buy once and spend whenever — they don't expire. Slower operators usually come out ahead on the punch card.
QuantApp searches live Home Depot and Rona listings for the materials in your estimate and pulls current prices. If a page didn't load, you get a blank link instead of a guess.
Yes. Prices in CAD, supplier pricing from Canadian retailers, built by a Canadian contractor.
No. The walkthrough is for renovation work. For new builds and additions, feed it the drawings instead.
Yes, and you should. QuantApp does the capture and the counting. You're still the estimator — open it on your computer, adjust what needs adjusting, then export.
